"Aromatized wines such as vermouth are wines to which botanicals
(anything from the plant world) have been added. This appeals to
me, as a winemaker, because it offers greater freedom of expression
than wines made solely from grapes and because these wines have
been mostly ignored for almost 200 years." ~ Andrew Quady
Vya vermouth is a new sort of vermouth, made without compromise,
and intended to be drunk straight, as a delicious aperitif, as well
as the essential ingredient in the world's best cocktails.
Imagine a tingling sensation, a feeling of warmth, a pleasant
sweet bitterness, and the aroma of Holiday Spices. This is Vya Sweet Vermouth.
Balanced, Aromatic & Rich… Ask for it.
Vya Sweet Vermouth, inspired by the best Italian sweet
vermouths, is all about sensations which stimulate the taste buds,
producing a mouth-watering effect. Vya sweet induces a warm
tingling in the mouth with a subtle balance of bitter and sweet.
According to classic references, sweet muscat is the preferred base
wine for sweet vermouth. For Sweet Vya, a special base wine using
Orange Muscat and Valdepenas (for its red fruit tones) was made.
The botanicals consist of bark, roots, seeds, and citrus rind.
Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and galangal (wild asian ginger), are some
of the constituents.
